Sunak became the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, succeeding Liz Truss. He was the first person of color and the first Hindu to hold the office.

Sunak resigned as Prime Minister after the Labour Party won a landslide victory in the general election, and he was succeeded by Keir Starmer.
