Rishi Sunak. Early Life and Education

Rishi Sunak was born in Southampton, England, to parents of Indian descent. His grandparents emigrated from Punjab, India, to East Africa, and his parents were born in Tanzania and Kenya, respectively.

Sunak attended Stroud School and later Winchester College, where he developed his academic and extracurricular skills.

Sunak studied Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) at Lincoln College, Oxford University, graduating with a first-class degree.

Sunak was a Fulbright Scholar at Stanford University, where he pursued his MBA and met his future wife, Akshata Murty.
