Prigozhin was buried in a private ceremony at Porokhovskoe Cemetery in Saint Petersburg, beside his father.

Yevgeny Viktorovich Prigozhin died in an airplane crash in Tver Oblast, Russia. The crash, which killed all 10 people on board, is believed by Western officials to have been caused by an explosion on board, possibly due to sabotage.

Prigozhin addressed the Ministry of Defense, criticizing the luxurious lifestyle of the children of Russia's top officials and accusing them of not contributing to the war effort.
