Mahatma Gandhi. Personal Life and Relationships

Gandhi married Kasturbai Makhanji Kapadia when he was 13 years old, and she was 14.

Gandhi's first child was born but survived only a few days. His father, Karamchand, died shortly after.

Gandhi and Kasturbai had four sons: Harilal (1888), Manilal (1892), Ramdas (1897), and Devdas (1900).

Gandhi met Sarala Devi Chaudhurani in Lahore and developed a platonic love tie with her, despite both being married.

Gandhi experimented with brahmacharya (celibacy) by sleeping naked with his grand-niece Manu to test his sexual arousal.
