What happened with George VI on 14 December, 1895

Prince Albert, the future King George VI, was born at York Cottage on the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk. He was named after his great-grandfather Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha. His birth was significant as it marked the 34th anniversary of the death of his great-grandfather.
