George Michael participated in the UK number-one single 'Do They Know It's Christmas?' for the Band Aid charity project.

He performed at the Live Aid concert, a dual-venue benefit concert held in London and Philadelphia.

George Michael reprised his duet with Elton John, 'Don't Let the Sun Go Down On Me', for charity, with proceeds going to London Lighthouse and the Rainbow Trust Children's Charity.

He contributed to the AIDS charity album 'Red Hot and Dance' with the track 'Too Funky'.
